Meet the team
Darren Moore - Managing Director/Founder
Darren was in the motor trade for 25 years and decided to have a change of career. He joined Amazon DSN1 as a delivery driver to learn the role before securing his own Delivery Service Provider contract.
Since then Darren has grown the business to give more employment opportunities to the local community and has built a great customer/client base.
Darren is a regular runner and has completed marathons. He is also a keen motorcyclist and likes nothing better on the occasional day off to go for a long bike ride to blow away the cobwebs.
Shani Moore - Finance & HR Director
Finance Director, Shani helped to launch Dash Couriers and leads the team on compliance and HR matters. She has 28 years of accounting experience in the family car sales business.
Driver safety is a big focus, so making sure they all have support and a point of contact day & night is important. Even little treats every now and then, such as free breakfasts or lunches and cupcakes.
Shani is always smiling and bubbly and can help to make a bad day seem a lot brighter her motto is " there is always a solution to a problem " Shani loves cooking, crochet and driving her new car. She is always there for anyone in need of a chat 24/7.
Rose Moore - Operations Director
Rose originally joined DASH as a part time driver on her days off from being a Senior Community Carer. She loved meeting people and bonded well with the team and shortly after, joined full time.
As the business expanded, Rose took on the role of Amazon On Site Manager and now leads the DSN1 operation. She runs a very tight ship and helps our drivers gain regular bonuses by educating and recognising great performance.
Rose is a true asset to the business and has also become a company director. She works hard to maintain Dash's enviable position in the delivery station.
In her spare time, she loves to modify her car which is her her pride and joy, and also enjoys travelling.
Management team
Aron - Sales Contracts Manager
Aron joined us as a multi drop driver on our Amazon contract, and already had some previous supervisory experience.
We soon recognised his hard work and dedication to the role and he very quickly began training new drivers.
Aron has achieved two promotions, firstly to lead driver and more recently he became our Sales Contracts Manager. He is a true multi tasker and now supports our management teams in their day to day operations. He has gained the utmost respect from the teams he looks after.
Matt Tyler - Yodel On Site Manager
Matt joined us as at Yodel, Bristol as a very experienced multi drop driver and has recently been promoted to lead the team. His role includes organising the morning routes, helping with driver queries and providing on road support throughout the day. He does all that, as well as carrying out his own daily route !! He leads by example and always makes sure the job gets done properly.
Tony Pallett - Same Day Manager
Tony joined us in 2020 on our Amazon contract was one of our top performing drivers. He was awarded the role of Sameday manager two years later and his no nonsense approach gets him through the sometimes stressful task of running our entire sameday operation. With a team of drivers all over the country this is no mean feat !! He also manages his wife Sam who is a Dash driver, but he insists there's no favouritism.
Geoff Budd - Swindon Hub On site Manager
Geoff started working with us in early 2021 as a multi drop driver. A year later he switched to one of our new client roles and has worked his way up to lead our small team in the Swindon depot. Geoff has recently become a new Dad so a good work/life balance is very important.
George Grimmer - Amazon OSM
George started as a driver for our Amazon contract in May 2021 and is always the life and soul of the party . In June 2023 was promoted to On site manager to help Rose out for our contract. No job is to small for our George and he always go above and beyond for Dash.
